Project Overview
Our client, an organization using cloud infrastructure for storing data and running business applications, faced an increased risk of information compromise due to misconfigurations in cloud services. The main objective of the project was to identify and correct potential vulnerabilities caused by improper access settings, publicly exposed resources, and insufficient control over the cloud environment. The project included a comprehensive analysis of cloud infrastructure configurations, identification of risks related to improperly assigned access permissions, as well as the implementation of security policies and continuous monitoring. As a result, a more secure and controlled cloud environment was established, protecting corporate data and reducing the risk of unauthorized access and information leakage.
Challenges
Publicly accessible cloud resources due to improperly configured access policies.
Excessive privileges granted to users and services within the cloud infrastructure.
Lack of centralized visibility over configurations and changes in the cloud environment.
Insufficient monitoring of user and application activities in the cloud.
Increased risk of sensitive data leakage and unauthorized access to resources.
